We were delighted to welcome the Board of Directors of the amazing Warilla Bowls Club (Home of the World Cup, near Wollongong NSW) and their legendary bowls co-ordinator Jeremy Henry – a nine times world champion from Ireland – to the club recently.
The group is on a study tour to decide which fabric roof and synthetic green to install at the south coast venue (already the world’s largest bowls complex with its three outdoor greens and an eight-rink indoor stadium). They had already visited Box Hill RSL, Drouin, Pakenham and Narre Warren.
Here is the customary group photo with chairman David Allen. Jeremy is front left, while club chairman Rob Tynan is next to him.
